HIMSS Supports Humanitarian Relief Missions Due To War in Ukraine

HIMSS has partnered with changemakers to support humanitarian missions that are providing care to refugees due to the war in Ukraine.

Marianna Imenokhoeva, a HIMSS Future 50 Awardee and European Community member, has collaborated with HIMSS to use the extensive reach of the 2022 HIMSS Global Conference and Exhibition to share information about how to donate time or resources to support Telehealth4Peace.

Telehalth4Peace provides telehealth and other remote patient monitoring services to Ukrainians who have experienced a loss of care in their home areas or who have relocated throughout Europe. The Telehealth4Peace initiative has already attracted more than 200 clinicians from around the world and three telehealth platforms pro bono.

Additionally, Milton Chen, CEO of VSee, will be interviewed for HIMSS22 Digital to highlight bono efforts to provide telehealth services to support the humanitarian response in Ukraine. VSee has thousands of volunteer doctors supporting the efforts in addition to employees in Eastern Europe delivering services and supplies to refugees.
