HIMSS22 Europe Brings Changemakers Together to Drive Recovery and Resilience of Europe's Health Systems

The 2022 HIMSS European Health Conference & Exhibition is bringing the European healthcare community back together from 14 to 16 June 2022 in Helsinki, Finland, for inspiration, innovation, action and unrivalled networking opportunities.

With at least €13bn investment in digital health transformation allocated through the European Recovery and Resilience Funds and the foundations laid out for the prospective European Health Data Space (EHDS), all eyes are turning toward Europe. 

HIMSS22 Europe will be the epicenter of digital health, featuring HIMSS's knowledge, expertise and thought leadership in healthcare digitisation and Accelerate Health’s network of entrepreneurs and investors showcasing the latest and most innovative health tech solutions. 

Europe’s healthcare and health IT leaders now have the unparalleled opportunity to advance the digital transformation of their health systems and, with this, contribute to building a stronger and future-proof European Health Union.

HIMSS22 Europe will help bring that reality to life by enabling attendees to set in motion the change. They will engage with world-class speakers and customise their educational programming with hands-on pre-conference workshops and forums, outcome-focused sessions from industry leaders, renowned keynote speakers and specialty tracks to meet distinct needs. 

Topics include artificial intelligence, digital public health, digital transformation, integrated care, person-enabled health, radical health and workforce empowerment. The primary and secondary use of health data, the lifeblood of our health systems, will also be addressed at all levels and by all stakeholders so that the EHDS is leveraged to its full potential.  

The conference has been endorsed by the French Presidency of the Council of the European Union (PFUE). The seal underlines HIMSS22 Europe’s commitment to support the European eHealth agenda and will strengthen the event’s footprint with European and French governmental institutions and health providers. 

Finnish authorities such as the Finnish Ministry of Health and Welfare as well as the Finnish Ministry of Economics are among the many governmental and professional organizations supporting the event.
