Angela Velkova is Director of Communities and Strategic Relations for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
I have been with HIMSS a little over four years now.
I am a true believer that everyone, everywhere, should have access to healthcare that works. In support of this vision, I am entrusted to bring our global mission to the local level. I identify, link and unlock synergies among stakeholders, policies and practice within a given territory — and with this, enable the most effective diffusion of innovation in healthcare.
When we have enabled the sharing of knowledge when it is needed the most, when we have linked implementation with policy and the other way around, and when we have helped the development of skills and strategy needed for building more resilient and prepared health systems of the future, we know we have done a good job.
It’s never boring.
At HIMSS, our vision is to realize the full health potential of every human, everywhere. Be part of the community that’s transforming the global health ecosystem with courage, curiosity and determination.
